Marie-Christine here today sharing a new glitter Art Journal page. An evening of prom in the city and lots of bright stars in the sky, what better way to start with you this New Year! Happy creative year to all of you. I used some beautiful stencils for this page, TCW871 Native Star, TCW5004 Star Shower, TCW729 City Buildings, TCW526 Fly Away.

Fly Away Art Journal

I start by making my background with some spray inks.

I use TCW871 Native Star with a baby wipe.

Then I replace my TCW871 Native Star stencil and apply gold glitter paint.

Let’s put stars in the sky with TCW5004 Star shower and Gold glitter paint.

On a watercolor paper, I use TCW729 City Buildings with TCW9036 Champagne Gold Modeling Paste, once dry, I color the buildings with watercolor paint and cut them.

I stick my buildings once cut at the bottom of my double page.

I cut a circle that I dye with my spray inks. Once dry, I use TCW526 Fly Away with gold glitter paint to make my title. I also put some gold around the circle. I stick it in the center of my big star. And finally, I adhere my lady with the rose at the bottom of my page (image found on Pinterest).
