Breathings of Your Heart: An Art Journal Page

I have a drawer where I store scraps of paper that I’ve cut off a bigger piece of paper. Most of them are white or black and in all shapes and sizes. I like to you those scarps for loose art journal pages. I don’t have to pull out an art journal so it’s a little faster. This is a scrap of watercolor paper, 11×11.

I started by adding paint in white, blue, gold and fluorescent pink to the background using TCW807 Script Dots and TCW879 Gauze stencils.

I added the wings from TCW821 Prayerful Angel to the page and let it dry. Then I painted the wooden heart and the wings white.

To finish my page I added the quote and some extra dots from the TCW807 Script Dots stencil in blue and gold.

I have a box full of loose art journal pages. I love going through the box and looking at all the pages. I even cut up some of the pages for new art journals.
