“Happy Christmas” A vintage Art Journal page.

Hello Crafty Friends,

Marie-Christine with you today with a vintage Art Journal page, I love this style that takes me into the heat of Christmas. I also like to integrate some cutouts in my Art Journal. For this creation, I used two stencils, TCW876 Screen View and TCW614 Citrus Montage.

I start by making my background with Blue Distress Oxide. Then, I add some citrus with a baby wipe and TCW614 Citrus Montage.

I do the same thing with Distress Orange ink.

I use TCW614 Citrus Montage again with this time TCW9026 Champagne Gold Modeling Paste, all over the page. When it’s dry, I spray a little orange ink to make splashes.

After drying, I put colors with two Distress Oxide ink shades on my page, using TCW876 Screen View stencil.

My background is finished! Now, I adhere my vintage image in the right bottom of my page with TCW9045 Matte Gel Medium.

I love walking around on Pinterest, this is where I find my vintage illustrations for my Art Journal. I also use printed scrapbooking papers that I cut out and adhere on my pages.

I cut Christmas’ balls and my title “Joyeux Noël” in printed scrapbooking papers. I really like this vintage spirit!
