When it comes to Christmas we tend too spend way to much on gifts, but it IS the season for giving and so we do. But there is a way to give a thoughtful and practical gift, without breaking the bank.
Today I am going to show you how I made these Label stickers and give you a recipe for the lip scrub as well. Quick and easy, for last minute gifting too.
I have a process video for you on how I make the labels that you can view here:

I had labeling sticker in my stash, and thought they would work well for this. I grabbed them and got my gelli plate out. I added colors of green and pale yellow for a base, then spread it out with a brayer and continued to print on the stickers.
I liked this for a base, and then added bronze color paint with stencil TCW873 Orb Mandala

I am liking the way the layers are building up, and I add one more, with TCW876 Screen View and some white paint to mute it down a tad.

The results are pretty and Christmas like in color, although not too “Christmassy” that it would be off putting in January / Feb.

The only thing left is to write on the labels. I show two ways here.
The first you can do is to use letters stickers and create the words that way.
Second you can use a label printer, which is my preferred way. Neat looking and easy.
You can also write it by hand or use stencils/stamps if you have that.

Stick this to your container to indicate the content.
The recipe for the actual scrub is pretty easy too. You just mix all the ingredients below together and add it to your jar. Super easy and quick Christmas DIY gift done in no time.

Happy holidays everyone, hope you have a lovely festive season with your family. See you in the new year 🙂
Till next time friends 🙂
