Stencilled Tag Set – Gratitude and Thankyou

Group of 4 stencilled tags in blue and pink

Hello TCW friends
I am having a bit of an obsession with tag art at the moment. So I thought I would create something with tags today.

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own

As usual… if you enjoy seeing a page come together quickly, you can just go ahead and watch the process video below. Captions within the video will tell you what products I have used along the way.

…here is how the page progressed…

Begin with a group of connected tags. I use spray paint by Ironlak in blue and then in pink through stencil TCW828 – Big Flower (designed by Julie Fei-Fan Balzer). I then used gesso through the stencil with a makeup sponge for the centre stencil.

Next I added some yellow mark making in three groups. These marks are reminiscent of pollen dots on the end of flower stamen

Repeating this dot theme I then added stenciling through TCW5008 – Random Dots in a deep blue

I add some botanical collage images in black and white using TCW9045 – Matte Gel Medium as my adhesive. I chose this gel medium over my regular fluid matte medium as I knew it would be less likely to smudge the water reactive elements already on the page.

Finally I add some simple words and some black ribbon

Although simple, I think these tags are really effective and I am really happy with them!

I hope this walk through has given you some inspiration to make your own simple tag set using The Crafter’s Workshop stencils!

We would love to see your projects made with The Crafter’s Workshop products. Use #TCWstencillove with your project pictures.

Have a great day!
