Hello everyone,
Marie-Christine with you today with an Art Journal page, that will transport you to the spirit of Christmas and the next winter holidays. I used several beautiful stencils to achieve this mood, TCW870 Fir Branch, TCW5020 Snowflakes, TCW5008 random Dots, TCW243 Ferns, TCW808 Leaf Collection.

I start by making my background. First, I draw my snow globe and I color around and the interior with blue Distress ink.

Distress Ink.
I used TCW870 Fir Branch on the top with Distress Inks. I added some snowflakes and texture around my snow globe with TCW5020 Snowflakes and TCW9040 White Pearl Modeling Paste.

I cut a strip of printed wood paper to make my base.

Now, I make some snow inside my globe with TCW5008 Random Dots and TCW9040 White Pearl Modeling Paste.

I prepare my foliage with TCW808 Leaf Collection, TCW243 Ferns and TCW9044 Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste. And I stamp some Christmas Trees. When it is dry, I color with watercolor paints. I cut all of them.

I found some vintage illustrations on Pinterest that I printed and cut.

I always try different settings of my pictures before adhere them. Once I like it, I stick them one by one from the bottom to the top.

Now, I adhere them and add my title on the top with a stamp.

I’m very new to this, so this question may seem silly. When you are preparing the foliage with modeling paste, how is it done? I mean is it on something separate and you scrape it off a certain kind of surface? Thank you for not laughing.
