I want to share an art journal spread with you. I hope you like it.
The Crafter’s Workshop provided me the products to work with, but the opinions I share here, are solely my own.
I made this spread in a Dylusions square journal. I glued pieces of scrapbook paper with TCW9011 Matte Gel medium.
Next, I applied Ken Oliver Color bursts (KN-TCW3526 Mermaid tails) with brush and TCW9011 Matte Gel medium.
Next step was stenciling with acrylic paints. I applied TCW9023 Blue jellybean heavy body paint with a cosmetic sponge through TCW876 Screen View and TCW843 Follow joy stencils.
Added dark blue paint through TCW834 Stone increase stencil at the borders.
Next step was TCW9004 Light and Fluffy modeling paste. I applied it with a palette knife, through TCW876 Screen View stencil. I let it dry.
Then, I applied TCW9005 White Opaque Modeling paste through TCW863 Sunflower meadow stencil and let it dry completely.
I colored the Sunflowers and leaves with soft pastels and fixed the pastels with a spray fixative.
Applied TCW9015 Black Licorice heavy body paint through TCW843 Follow joy stencil for the title of the spread.
Finished the pages by adding few paint splatters, shading and highlights.
That’s all for now.
I hope you liked it.
