Hi Everyone!  I’m not one to create those home decor wooden signs for my home but can they be used for smaller art projects. Yes, they can!!!

I used TCW2188 Kindness Matters to create a smaller piece of art. This was my first experiment so I may do more with this stencil.  First I painted the 12×6 paper and then added the stencil to the background. Did you notice the direction of the stencil. I love it. It would probably look pretty cool with a repeating pattern of words in the background.

Then I highlighted the words with a paint pen.

To add some more details, I added TCW725 Wild Blooms stencil with TCW Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste.

To finish the piece I painted the flowers.

My next one I’ll be adding a repeating pattern with this stencil. I love the words.  Have used used these large home decor stencils with a smaller piece of art?
