Today I wanted to share this pretty tag I made using a Crafter’s Workshop stencil and some other bits and bobs.
***The Crafter’s workshop provided me some products to create this project. The opinions I share, however, are solely my own. :)***
I have a full tutorial for you on how I put it all together, you can watch it here:
To start this project off, I grabbed a Tim Holtz Tag and stuck on some torn up book pages using TCW Matte Gel Medium.
I then added some soft pastel colors from the new Dina Wakley paint range and added a darker color for contrast with stencil TCW 827 Spring Medallion from Julie Fei-Fan Balzer.
Next I wanted to add the focal point. I stamped out an old stamp set I bought at a stash swap, and stamped it out on old book paper, then colored it with mermaid markers.
I adhered the flowers using TCW Matte Gel Medium and did some shading around the flowers for contrast.
I added some Nuvo gemstones to the tag for sparkle, as well as a quote from the Tim Holtz sticker book.
Final touches now, by just adding some white hi-lights and the stems. I also added the new Dina Wakley scribble sticks around the tag to give it that golden glow.
Pretty easy and I love the result.
