Flamingo Art Journal

Hello Crafty Friends,

Marie-Christine with you today with a Flamingo Art Journal page. I chose this theme that feels good summer and I also wanted to use the new TCW837 Texture Plate stencil to give originality to my drawing.

***The crafter’s workshop provided me some products to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own.***

How to do

I started with a printed paper for my background and I colored it with some Distress Oxide. I used TCW830 Dash Triangle with TCW9047 Black Modeling Paste at the top of my page.

I drew the flamingo on a watercolor paper, then I colored it with watercolor paints. Once dry, I added the patterns with the TCW837 Texture Plate stencil and some Grey Distress Oxide. I cut and adhered it with TCW9045 Matte Gel Medium on my background.

I stamped some tropical flowers, I colored  with watercolor, cut and adhered them with TCW9045 Matte Gel Medium at the bottom and the top of my page.

I stamped my title on a piece of watercolor paper colored with Distress Oxide. I stuck it with TCW9045 Matte Gel Medium on the right side.

Here are some details.

Here the result!

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope my project inspired you!

We would love to see what you create with The Crafters Workshop Stencils and Mediums. You can share it with us on our Facebook Page, Instagram and Pinterest using hashtag #stencillove.
