My daughter fell in love with the unicorn stencil and had to turn it in to something amazing, so we turned a blank 12×12 wood board into a cute decor item for her room, and the best part is that she help to make it!!
The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own.
Check out how to make this project in the video below.
I took a class at a board and brush and that is where I made the background with their items, basically just adding the distressing and color to the board. I then brought the colored board home and used my TCW stencils, mediums, and paints to complete it. I used the TCW818 Believe in Unicorns by Carmen Medlin with a mixture of TCW9036 Champagne Gold Modeling Paste, TCW9016 Spun Sugar Heavy Body Paint, TCW9020 Raspberry Sorbet Heavy Body Paint, and TCW9001 White Gesso to get the various color on the board. I then added some glue to various parts of the unicorn and added glitter to make it super shiny. To get the clear crisp glitter look I added in the izink diamond glitter paint with the stencil and it worked like a charm!
