Hello everyone,
It is Marie-Christine here today, to share two mixed media cards using texture and bright colours. Summer is very hot in France this year, we need some fresh air, so, I hope to bring you some our warmth with my summer creations.
***The crafter’s workshop provided me some products to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own.***
How to do
I used water soluble oil pastels, TCW804 Mesh Blocks (small) and TCW805 Newport Tiles (small) with a baby wipe for my background.
When it is dry, I put TCW801 Skylight stencil (small) on the left side of my cards and added some texture with TCW9046 White Modeling Paste and TCW9012 Shimmery Goodness mixed together.
Then when it is dry, I placed the same stencil on the texture to added colours with Distress inks.
I did a few ink splash on each cards before I stuck my vintage images with TCW9011 Gel Medium Clear.
I redraw the stencil with a white pen. I added my titles, for these I used words definitions from an old dictionary.
To finish, I stuck my cards on a coloured paper.
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope my project inspired you!
We would love to see what you create with The Crafters Workshop Stencils and Mediums. You can share it with us on our Facebook Page, Instagram and Pinterest using hashtag #stencillove.
