You Are Braver Than You Believe Art Journal Page by Farrel Tailor

Hi there everyone, Farrel here again to share with you another art journal creation of mine.

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own.

To start my page, I used a wet paint brush and applied the paint in the following order – Vibrant Turquoise, Calypso Teal and London Blue.

Once the paint was dry, I then painted White Linen onto my Darkroom Door background stamp – Alphabet and stamped onto my page randomly.

Next I used a make up sponge and applied my Lemon Zest paint to TCW764s Number Scramble

To add more definition I used the stencil to create an outline of the numbers.

I added a grid stamp over the stenciled area and then used TCW9033 Marcasite Silver Modeling Paste and TCW739 Trendy Images for my focal point.

Next I used a palette knife to randomly apply Thermoweb Deco Foil Transfer Gel to my Deer Head.

While it was still tacky I then rubbed over the Deer Head with Thermoweb Rebekah Meier Designs Mixed Media Transfer Foil – New Penny.

Next I drew around the deer head with a bronze Sharpie pen but felt it wasn’t bold enough, so I went around it again but with a black Uniposca paint pen.

To finish off the page, I stamped a quote from Dina Wakley’s Gal Quotes stamp set onto white cardstock and adhered it to the layout.

Thanks for dropping in and I hope you have enjoyed my tutorial xx
