A Vase of Flowers

Roaming round my local craft store I found this vase attached to a piece of wood that can you can hang up on your wall.  It’s not my style so I thought I would change it up.

I took it apart to be able to paint the wood. When you see home décor items you may want to change always check to see if there is a way to pull it apart. Its usually just held together with a few screws.

First I painted it with gesso and when it dried I painted it metallic silver. I then added a wash of black paint and wiped off the excess.

Using a small strip of painters tape I covered up the holes to add the Tuscan Floral stencils to the board with TCW Platinum Modeling Paste.

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with stencils and mediums to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own because I do love to use them.

When the modeling paste dried all I had to do is put it all back together again. Now to find somewhere to hang it!

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. You can see all the new stencils and Mixed Media Metallic Modeling Pastes on Scrapbook.com.

We would love to see what you create with The Crafters Workshop Stencils and Mediums. You can share it with us on our Facebook pageInstagram, Twitter, and Pinterest using hashtag #tcwstencillove.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
