Happy New Year! I wish you all a happy and healthy one.
For over a year I’ve been hooked on black and white paintings, collage, cards, etc., so today I have a black and white collage to show you.

I used the following:
8×8 Cradled Wood Panel
TCW Black Gesso
TCW White Gesso
TCW725 Wild Blooms Stencil
TCW737 Love Sonnet Stencil
Found black and white butterflies in my stash

I painted the wood panel with black gesso and added bits and pieces of paper to start the collage.

I added white gesso to the board and used an hand carved rubber stamp to to the background.

Then I added the Love Sonnet stencil and added some scribbles with white gesso.

From my stash I added the black and white butterflies.

To finish it I added the Wild Blooms stencil in white and black gesso.
