Lately my new favorite color combination is black and gold.
I started this project a long time ago but never finished it.
I used lots of TCW Black and Gold Gesso and TCW Heavy Body Acrylic Paint in Iridescent Gold.
The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with stencils and mediums to create this project.
The opinions I share are solely my own because I do love to use them.
I painted the board in TCW black gesso and then used a palette knife to add the TCW gold gesso. I added the frame and gold beads too.
I auditioned the flowers for placement that I dipped in TCW Black gesso (see my post here) and added Iridescent Gold paint to them. I also added little stones in the paint mixed with gesso and used a palette knife to add them to the board.
Here is a close up.
While the flowers and stones were drying, I added centers to the flowers.
I bet you’re wondering where are the stencils? Well, when I create a project and it’s not going to be hung on a wall, I always finish the back. I used TCW711s Rose Garden Stencil.
Here is the finished piece.
