Hi Everyone. I’m glad you’re here.
Today I’m going to show you how I created this art journal page with just one stencil
Tropical Elements (TCW612)
The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with stencils to create this project.
The opinions I share are solely my own because I do love to use them.
The background was made using a palette knife and acrylic paints.
I love the way it adds easy texture to the page.
When the pages dried, I added the tropical leaves to the background in the same color.
Remember to move your stencil in different directions on the page.
I love to flip the stencil to use the other side.
I waited for it to dry before I added the Flamingos.
As you can see a little bit of my art table above the journal, it’s a total mess.
I end up working in a tiny spot on a large table. Do you do that too?
Well, having too much on the table worked out to my advantage.
I spilled blue paint and some water on the yellow Flamingo.
It was perfect. A happy accident.
To finish the page, I added more tropical leaves in green. I also had leftover modeling paste and used that for the leaves too.
When it dried completely, I stamped the quote. Here are the finished spread.
Stay tuned for my next post because I can see a canvas in these art journal pages!
Thank you so much for stopping by!
