Spring Greeting Card Layout with NEW stencils

Hello Everyone, Jen here. I created this quick and easy layout for spring themed greeting card.

Supplies needed:

Watercolor supplies

  • Watercolor pan set
  • Waterbrush or paint brush
  • Water Dish
  • Watercolor paper
  • Stencils: TCW 2111 Queen Ann’s Lace & TCW 623 Life Words.
  • Optional (embossing pen & heat gun)

Step 1: Cut your paper to greeting card size, then Layout the TCW 2111 Queen Ann’s Lace Stencil over your watercolor paper. Choose your color of paint and trace around stencil.

Step1 paint trace

Filling in the entire area with paint. Make sure you don’t have too much water on your brush so the paint won’t run.

Step 2 addding flower color

Step 4: Allow this to dry then work on the lower portion of the card. Adding inspirational words, I used TCW 623 Life Words. The words were traced with pen first.

I then used my embossing pen over the words. Applying gold embossing powder with the heat gun.
