Peace • a doodled art journal page

So much is going on in my life right now that I needed to create a little peace and quiet in my frantic brain! Doodling is always a fall back for me to relax and slow down. Add in the fact that I used a stencil to create the doodles and it was even more relaxing, as it allowed me to not have to think very much!

I outlined the shadow line with the black gel pen and then went back with a black Pitt Big Brush marker to fill in.

I really don’t know if the page is finished or not. I like it and it accomplished the goal of some relaxing time for my brain. However, I can see coming back to it with colored gel pens, markers or color pencils as it would make a great coloring book page to zone out with again!
