Cards Created with the New 2015 Stencils

Hi Everyone, Karenliz here.
I’m so excited to show you what I created with the new Joyful Sunflower (TCW575s) and Sheet Music (TCW579s) stencils!
You can see all the new stencils HERE!

Today I have two cards to show you.
Here is the first one.

This card is easy to create
To create the background, I used white acrylic paint through the Sheet Music stencil. When it was dry I added Imaginecrafts Irresistible Texture Spray in Electric Yellow and watered down orange acrylic paint to add more color to the background.

I created the sunflower using Ranger Archrival Inks in coffee, jet black, monarch orange, dandelion and saffron though the stencil. I wanted the sunflower to sit off to the side so I made sure I added the sunflower to the side of the white cardstock. When I cut it out it attached perfectly to the black cardstock where I wanted it.

Karenliz_TCWDT_SnflwrCardbI attached it to the card plus the little sentiment and I was done.

This next card takes time to create but I love the result.

Karenliz_TCWDT_SnflwrCardThis first thing I did was to trace the sunflower stencil with white pen on black cardstock. I used a utility craft knife to cut out the inside of each pedal of the sunflower.

Karenliz_TCWDT_SnflwrCarddWhen I was done I turned it over and added crackle paste to add the inside part of the sunflower.

Karenliz_TCWDT_SnflwrCarda When the crackle paste dried, I attached it to the polka dot pre-made card.
This one is my favorite.

I hope you are excited as I am to try these new stencil designs.
I know you will love them.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
