Welcome to day 2 of our inspiration-filled, fun-filled festival during our team’s Creatastic Blog Hop. Join us each day as we share amazing projects created by our Design Team members. Susan K Weckesser’s Design Team will be sharing projects they create over on their site too. Both teams will be using Susan K Weckesser Inc products as well as stencils by The Crafter’s Workshop.
Now, make sure you visit both blogs, because we are going to have some fun prize packages given away each day on both sites. You need to leave comments each day for a chance to win! We also encourage you to stop by and become a fan of Susan K Weckesser Facebook Page and The Crafter’s Workshop Facebook Page because that is where we will announce the winners!
Today we have Rita Barakat and Beck Beattie.
First is Rita Barakat with an adorable card.
Hey there creatives! Rita Barakat here to share a little combo of The Crafters Workshop and Susan K Weckesser stamps from Unity! I used the “what’s up Gnomey” stamps set and the TCWV479 Random Stars stencil to make this fun little card on a chalkboard card. I used bistro markers and PITT metallic pens with the stamps.
I used the random stars stencil with a little texture paste to add sweet stars!
It was so fun coloring in these fun images! I did add a little grass and a border. Using the metallic pens in conjunction with the bistro pens offered a great effect! ( That little acrylic stand is from Deflecto.) I hope you are enjoying all the projects this week! There is more to come tomorrow! Happy crafting!

Next up is Beck Beattie with a video too!
Hi Everyone, it is Beck BT here again with another Scrapbook page – yes they truly are my love. I am so excited to be sharing a project teaming up with Susan K Weckesser this week as part of our joint blog hop! Don’t forget there will be LOTS of inspiration, tutorials, giveaways and fun this week!
Susan’s art is always so inspiring, and I really wanted to capture some of that essence in my page. What better than to be accented with her adorable painted sentiments stamp set. The whole feel for the page was really inspired by Susan’s designs which I have been fortunate to work with in the past. I just knew the perfect stencil to team up my design idea with and that was The Crafter’s Workshop ‘Star Shower’ TCW170 stencil. I also gave my new Gelli plate a whirl to create this fun technique of transferring the stenciled, printed pattern onto the background of my Scrapbook page. To better illustrate how I did it, I created a video of the process.
Here is link if needed
To finish off the page I used Susan Weckesser Sentiments Stamp set stamped into some Gesso or blue paint and then stamped onto the page. I love how they accent the design. Here are some more pictures
I hope you enjoyed my share today Happy Crafting!! xxxBeck BT
