Karen here, sharing an All Occasion card that I created using TCW stencils. Creating your own backgrounds for your cards gives you flexibility to customize with colors and preferred themes of choice. In the card below, I was able to add pops of color using ink sprays and the Netting (TCW484) stencil to create an All Occasion card that can be tailored to any theme. Take a peek at the tutorial below:
Supplies
White Core’dinations Cardstock (2 Sheets)
Black Cardstock
Patterned Paper
Stencil (Netting-TCW484)
Dylusions Ink Sprays (Vibrant Turquoise, Postbox Red, Lemon Zest)
Distress Stain (Vintage Photo)
Foam Tool
Ribbon
Buttons
Pins
Embossing Folder
Spellbinders Die
Die Cut Machine
Corner Rounder
Adhesive: Xyron 9” Creative Station
Step One: Lay stencil on Core’dinations cardstock white cardstock and spray inks to transfer Netting (TCW484) to cardstock.
Step Two: Lay 2nd sheet of Core’dinations cardstock on top of inked stencil. This extends the use of the ink that remains on the top of the stencil, enabling a reversed image. The reversed image was used for this card.
Step Three: Trim cardstock down and emboss using die cut machine.
Step Four: Apply distress stain to the embossed card layer.
Step Five: Enhance card layer with foam tool and vintage photo ink. Set aside.
Step Six: Create scalloped edge die cut using die cut machine and die.
Step Seven: Adhere card together using Xyron 9” Creative Station.
Step Eight: Continue layering card together and adhere bow, button and pins
