Hope you have had a great weekend and are ready for the new week.

I have a journal page I have been playing with, using lots of different media and some of the TCW brand new stencils. (swoon)  See them in all their glory HERE.

I started off with a roughly gessoed page….and added paints sprays, watercolour crayons Texture pastes and gelato’s with a selection of the new stencils.

Shimmerz Paints, Dazzlerz works beautifully through TCW stencils.  Below you can see TCW492s Kasias Letters.

More gesso and a book page heart cut from an old book I sit alongside me when using the stencils….(Todays fun TIP 😉 …..I just slip the paint/spray covered stencils between the pages after I have used them, to remove the residual ink/paint…..this assists with cleaning the stencils and prevents wastage of remaining media on the stencils….. AND leaves you with some beautifully patterned and coloured book pages ready for you to use in your art work!)  I think this is the centre of the dartboard stencil in yellow you can see here on the book paper.

I used white ink and a copperplate nib and calligraphy pen to handwrite journaling randomly on the piece.
