HI! Brand spanking new TCW design team member Tami Sanders here! And I’m very excited to be here!

I have a special project to share with you to make my DT debut. I love mixing, matching and layering TCW stencils; you can create fun and unique designs so easily. For this project I layered and inked several new of the new stencils – TCW2030 Burlap Bits, TCW437 Texturized, TCW431 Ripple and TCW363s Mini Diamonds on shrink film using ColorBox Surfacez ink. After inking the shrink film, I punched circles from the sheet and baked them. The result are adorably tiny designs that look like they were painstakingly applied…

Although the design looks complicated, it was easy to achieve just by using a different color of ink for each pattern in the design.

Here are the ink and stencil combos I used and the order in which I applied them:

TCW2030 Burlap Bits – Caribbean Surfacez

I didn’t ink the entire design area of any of the stencils, just portions of them. This helps the patterns fade in and out of each other.

I started with a 3 1/2″ circle punch, and the earring pieces shrunk down to just about half that size. A few beads, jump rings, eye pins and ear hooks were used to put the earrings together.
