Creating your own “patterned paper”

I love creating my own “patterned paper” using The Crafter’s Workshop stencils. It’s a great way to add interest to your layouts. Even if you use just one stencil.

This layout features my parents out for Sunday breakfast so I thought it would be fun to use the Ledger TCW267 stencil. I misted using Lindy’s Stamp Gang misst in Summer Lovin’ Sun and South Shore Sand. Using two colours help to create a little depth for my “patterned paper”.

I pulled my “patterned paper” colours from the DCWV patterned papers used on the layout for a really cohesive look.
