I forgot Valentine’s Day! – Quick and Easy Cards

Hi Everyone Karenliz here.

I work full time for a tax accountant so I’ve been busy and I completely forgot about Valentine’s Day.  I needed to make a couple of quick Valentine’s Day cards.

My stencil aliens and I are very excited to be using a new Balzer Designs stencil called Mini Palms. What a great stencil! You have to get it.

I started by using Pan Pastels with the stencil on black paper.

I used Pan Pastels in Turquoise and Hansa Yellow Shade and Neutral Grey Tint. The colors pop off the black paper.

I then used Balzer Designs Mini Mix and Match Hearts to create an embellishment for the front of the card.

With turquoise card stock, music paper, and black card stock I created this card. It didn’t take any time at all. Quick and easy.

My second card I used the new Mini Palms stencil but this time I traced the design on back of the paper and cut out the negative space to make it look like a window. With scrap paper in the background it looks like stained glass.

The second may not be that quick but it didn’t take long at all to complete. The little hard on the front of the card was traced on grunge paper using one of the hearts on Mini Mix and Match Hearts stencil.

These cards can be made for any occasion. Grab a stencil and start making your cards!

Thanks you so much for stopping by!
