Keep Your Head Held High – art journal spread

Good Morning all! Helen here with a fun art journal spread for today! It’s been a tough couple months with family issues, but life happens, and you need to hold your head up high and move on! This is what this art journal spread is about for me… hold my head up high… Life will get better!

(And a HUGE HUG to all my teammates who helped me out the past couple of months!).

Finished art journal spread using new stencils and distress inks.

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project.

The opinions I share are solely my own.

TCW Product Used for my spread:

I used TCW2331 Bubble Circles slimline stencil by Rebekah Meier and some distress inks to do my first layer in a spiral bound journal. I sponged green, blue and purple through the stencil towards the right hand edge and along the bottom of my spread.

I then used a darker shade of green to add some random circles over top of the first layer.

I used TCW2329 Half Tones slimline stencil by Jaime Echt (my new favourite)

Using a darker shade of green ink and a sponged, I used TCW 2329 Half Tones slimline stencil by our very own Jaime Echt to add some dots randomly over my first layer.

Using black archival ink and a foamblending tool, I inked through the lines of the new

TCW964 Encircled stencil 6″ x 6″ by Ronda Palazzari over the second layer here and there.

To finish, I added a photo, a sentiment and some washi tape as well as some purple splatters. I usually always outline my art journal pages with a border, this makes the page finished to me.

Thanks for taking the time to see my project for today and keep your head held high!

We would love to see your projects made with TCW products!
