Mixed Media Board – Happy

Hello TCW crafters

Flowers on media board. Simple… Just one stencil. TCW962 – Bouquet Bliss by Ronda Palazzari. Hope you enjoy what I created!

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own

The Crafter’s Workshop used within this page:

TCW9053 – Mixed media board 6×6
TCW962 – Bouquet Bliss

If you enjoy seeing a page come together quickly, you can just go ahead and watch the process video below. Captions within the video will tell you what products I have used along the way.

…here is how the page came together step-by-step…

1 – Starting with TCW9053 Media Board 6×6, paint acrylics randomly across in pinks and purples and let dry thoroughly.

2 – Using stencil TCW962 – Bouquet Bliss, sponge through some embossing ink through the stencil and cover with black embossing powder. Heat the powder until the pattern is embossed. You can take a second pass again with the embossing ink is you have missed any places or if you would like the embossed finish to be thicker.

3 – On a seperate sheet of black paper, paint a thick layer of red paint and let it dry. Coat the paper a second time for an even finish.

4 – Once completely dry, use the same embossing technique through TCW962 – Bouquet Bliss onto the painted red paper. Fussy cut the flower ready to assemble onto the media board.

5 – Pop the fussy cut flower up onto double sided foam squares, trim the edges and add a short sentiment or phrase.

Thanks so much for watching along! Hope this project gives you some inspiration and gets you sitting at your craft table! Would love to see what you create with the fab stencils and modelling pastes from The Crafter’s Workshop.

Enjoy!

Dani x
