Delightful Dandelions!
Such a cheery little flower, even though some believe them to be weeds. Not me! 🙂 Today, I make some cute tags with some of the gorgeous NEW stencils from The Crafter’s Workshop. Keep an eye out for all the NEW Winter 2022 collection. So many beauties!

TCW2327 – Dandelion Puffs (available February 14th)
TCW2329 – Halftones (available February 14th)
TCW9009 – Black Modelling Paste
Stencil butters
TCW9067 – Gamboge
TCW9068 – Marigold

…here is how the page came together step-by-step…
1 – For each tag – Begin by masking 2 circle the same size as the blossoms on TCW2327 – Dandelions (available Feb 14th)
2 – Using TCW2329 – Halftones (available Feb 14th), stencil through, over the masks with acrylic paint in light blue. I used Dina Wakley Media – Mineral.
3 – Once dry, tape off the blossoms on TCW2327 – Dandelions and stencil through onto the tags with TCW9009 – Black modelling paste. Make sure this black paste is completely dry before continuing.
4 – Repeat these steps for as many tags as you require. I did four.
5 – Next, tape off everything except the blossoms this time around. Using TCW9067 – Gamboge & TCW9068 – Marigold stencil through the blossoms onto each tag. Repeat this for all tags and make sure the stencil butter is completely dry before continuing.
6 – Once all the tags are dry. Using watercolor paint paint the flowers adding washes of colour around the pastes to gift the tag some depth
7 – Add paint pen stripes to the bumble bees and add some light orange ribbons.
