“Hello Darling” Art Journal

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today, it is a drawing that serves as a basis for my Art Journal. Here I used TCW2317 Fence Grid Slimline Stencil, TCW953 Skeletal Leaf, TCW2421 Blowing Leaves , TCW938 Mystical doodles and TCW947 Beaded Mandala.

“Hello Darling” Art Journal

I start by making the background with TCW2421 Blowing Leaves and some Distress Inks in spray.

Then, I used TCW2317 Fence Grid Slimline Stencil with some dark green Distress ink in pad.

I sprayed some water on the page.

With TCW953 Skeletal Leaf and TCW Champagne Gold Stencil Butter, I made this large leaf in the center.

I draw the girl on TCW9051 Watercolor Paper, I paint her with watercolors, and do the designs on her dress with TCW938 Mystical Doodles and some Distress ink.

I do the same in her hair with TCW947 Beaded Mandala.

I cut her, I finish her and I glue her on the leaf.

I stamp the title with TCW2201 Sending Love Stamps Set. I also put some hearts on her with the same set of stamps.

Some more details.

Here is the result, thanks for stopping by today, I hope my tutorial inspired you! Do not hesitate to leave me a small comment, thank you!

  1. I LOVED this “Hello Darling Art Journal” by Marie-Christine Denis. I especially loved that you drew the girl, decorated her, and then cut her out and placed her in the background. This may seem basic to most people, but it blew me away. Good job, really good job. GH
