Tags ~ Easy Christmas Tags

Good Morning!

Christmas is almost here and I have a few gifts to give. I have decided to give practical gifts this year because we already have enough stuff just sitting around. Hence today’s project, handmade tags for gifts!
Go and turn on your laminator, because we will be foiling today!
Hope you like the process!

TCW provided me with some awesome goodies to play with, but the opinions and creations are my own.

Start with a heavy card stock (110lbs Neenah ) and spray distress oxides all over. I love this soft pink, orange, and teal color scheme for Christmas this year.

Next, add interest by using stamps all over. Remember, you are making 8 tags at one time,
so be mindful of all your dead space. I like stamping with distress oxide on mixed media pieces.

Next, bring out the stencils and add images all over again.

Now for the tags. Make sure your cardstock is dry before you attempt to die cut. It won’t give you crisp smooth edges. Also, cut another set of white tags to adhere to the back of the decorated tags.

Stamp on the front of the white tag a “To” and “From” sentiment.

Pull out the TCW9048 Hot Foil gel and a few more stencils, TCW880 Merry Tree and TCW951 Happy Holly Tree,
and start stenciling the tags.

Be careful not to spread the gel under the stencil. The foil will adhere to everywhere the gel is. OOPS!
I used Therm-O-Web DecoFoil foil.

Glue the white tag to the back of the decorated tag.
Add pretty ribbon and sentiments on foam tape to finish your project.

Aren’t these so pretty? Quick multiple tag project today. I hope you have a fantastic Thanksgiving if you are in the USA, otherwise, I hope you still have a great week!

Inky Fingers,

Charmaine

I have not bought TCW stencils in a while, but after seeing this I think I’m going to be buying some! Thanks so much and have a beautiful holiday
