A Little Spooky Mixed Media Layout

Good morning friends! I’m sharing a Halloween layout I created using black ink, a blending brush and the TCW877 Spider’s Web 12X12 stencil. These darling photos of my nephew needed to be scrapped and I’ve been waiting for the right time to do so!

Disclaimer: “The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with product to create this layout. The opinions I share are solely my own.”

To begin, I taped the stencil down using washi tape to prevent the stencil from slipping. I wanted to make sure those lines were as crisp as possible!

Very gently, I brushed the ink all over the layout starting at the top and working my way down. I did one section at a time.

It was a slow process, but so worth it!! The background looks so amazing!!

To complete the layout, I added lots of pretty paper tags, stickers and die cuts. This layout just screams “Halloween.”

I made the tags using a metal tag die and my Sizzix. I just like them… and I wanted a reason to use up those pretty trims.

I love it when I think of an idea and I have the embellishments to do it! Like, I wanted a black heart and found one in my stash! It’s the little things that make me happy.

What do you think? Honestly, I always have a difficult time scrapbooking Halloween photos because it is my least favorite holiday, but this collection isn’t as creepy and it’s super cute. Thanks so much for visiting today.
