Stay Curious – Slimline Canvas

Happy Wednesday everyone! And Happy Fall to everyone!

Time to play with some new yummy products from The Crafter’s Workshop! I am not a slimline card maker perse, but I do LOVE these slimline mixed media boards! They are just perfect for those moments we get to just play. Even if you have a few minutes, you can create some yumminess!

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project.

The opinions I share are solely my own.

To start, I gathered my materials for this fun fast project: TCW2317 Fence grid stencil (brand spanking new!), TCW9071 Slimline Mixed Media Board, my gel plate, 3 different colors of inks, and some bubble wrap.

I first gathered my materials... TCW2317 Fence grid stencil TCW9071 Slimline Mixed Media Board, my gel plate, 3 different colors of inks, and some bubble wrap.

I then took the green ink, and smooshed it over the middle part of my gel plate. Just enough of an area to eventually cover the board. I placed TCW2317 Fence Grid Slimline Stencil over this and took a print off to remove the green ink from the middle parts of the stencil. Leave the stencil in place.

Leave the stencil on the gelli plate for the next step.
Stencil left on gel plate after I pulled the green off.

Using both the pink and coral inks, I covered the stencil again in random ways. I took the bubble wrapped and squished this down through the stencil open areas where the pink and coral are.

What is left on my gel plate is now ready to transfer to TCW9071 Slimline Mixed Media board.

I placed TCW2317 Monarch Trio Slimline Stencil over the slimline board, and used TCW Palette Knife to spread the 3 colors of Stencil Butters over the butterflies!  TCW9069 Stencil Butter – Crimson; TCW9068 Stencil Butter in Marilgold; TCW9080 Stencil Butter in Champagne Gold (my new favourite!).
