Skeletal Leaf: A New Stencil

Happy Friday! Today I’m going to show you a brand new stencil designed by Carmen Medlin called Skeletal Leaf. It comes in both sizes of 12×12 and 6×6.

With this stencil I used the following: TCW9005 White Modeling Paste, TCW9011 Matte Gel Medium, and TCW9026 Champagne Gold Modeling Paste and TCW9054 Mixed Media Board.

The Crafters Workshop provided me with stencils and mediums to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own because I do love to use them.

To start I added some painted papers to the board with gel medium. I also added the word nature. I always stamp my words onto tissue paper so when you add it to the board the paper disappears.

I then added the 6×6 Skeletal Leaf stencil to the back ground first in green.

I continued adding the leaf in blue, teal and white.

Next I took some white modeling paste and mixed in some blue paint and use that to add the 12×12 Skeletal Leaf stencil.

Once the blue modeling paste dried, I added the small leaf twice with Champagne Gold Modeling Paste.

I added a little bit of scribble writing to finish it off.

I love how you can see through the leaf to the background underneath. I think that’s my favorite part. I hope you enjoyed this quick project. If you use this new stencil don’t forget to share it with us!

If you use TCW Stencils, stamps and mediums in your art, we would love it see it. Please share it with us on our Facebook pageInstagram, Twitter, and Pinterest using hashtag #tcwstencillove.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
