Hello Crafty friends,

Marie-Christine with you today and I take you to the beach. I want a day of relaxation with my friends and most of all sun in my eyes! For this Art Journal page, I used TCW807 Script Dots, TCW920 Tropical Fronds, TCW915 Hibiscus, TCW Fantangle and some TCW Stencil Butters.

I start by making the background with some pink and green spray inks. Then, I use TCW902 Fantangle with green ink.

When the background is dry, I apply some rice paper in several places with TCW9006 Gel Medium Gloss.

I continue with TCW807 Script Dots and TCW9005 White Modeling Paste at the bottom of the page to give relief.

I put color at the top of the page with TCW915 Hibiscus, TCW920 Tropical Fronds and TCW Stencil Butter Fuchsia, TCW Stencil Butter Gamboge, TCW Stencil Butter Lime Green, TCW Stencil Butter Chartreuse.

I glue my images of butterflies and retro young women on the middle, as well as the title.

I find all these images on Pinterest. I like to put color on vintage black and white images, like here on the swimsuits of young women.
