Card ~ “Found” a new way

Good Morning!
Charmaine here with something different, for me at least!
I started 4 different projects before this one worked out. I wanted something flashy, something that would knock your socks off. And then, I looked at the butterflies, and I knew I had to play with them!

TCW provided me with some awesome goodies to play with, but the opinions and creations are my own.

I used the butterflies from Beautiful Sentiments TCW2209 and stamped it on acetate with Stazon Pigment ink. This is an easier way to get a heat embossed look on acetate.

Next, I used an A2 heavy cardstock base with TCW Matte Gel Medium and adhered this black and white paper with a brush.

TCW Modeling Paste is perfect for stenciling, like I did here with TCW2304 Bricks Vertical Slimline. I applied Distress Oxide Vintage Photo first to give it that brown, vintage look.

I had some ephemera in a drawer and placed them on the bottom of the card to make it look like a flowerbox.

I cut four frames with a metal die and glued them together. Next I glued the acetate to the frames with an EZ tape runner from Therm-O-Web that does not show through acetate. Finally, I placed the Found chipboard off-center.

I am so glad I tried something different but with all the same tools.
I hope you like today’s edition of “Let’s see what happens today”!

Charmaine
