LUCKY MIXED MEDIA TIER TRAY

Hello everyone! I have a fun mixed media Tier Tray I created for St. Patrick’s Day. This tier tray makes my heart happy! It’s sitting on my coffee table and I just love it.

Disclaimer: “The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own.”

To begin, I coated the wooden blocks with two coats of White Gesso.

Once the Gesso was completely dry, I used the TCW862 Maidenhair Fern stencil and the Lime Green Stencil Butter to create the pretty leaves using a palette knife. Simply dip the palette knife into the Lime Green Stencil butter and gently pull the Stencil Butter through the stencil from the top down towards the bottom.

I let these pieces sit overnight to make sure they were completely dry before moving onto the next step.

Using a palette knife, I painted the other pieces. Once the Stencil Butter was completely dry, I used a Gel Medium to glue down the pieces onto the blocks.

Here are some close ups of the pieces. Aren’t they beautiful?! I love how vibrant the Stencil Butters look on all of the wood pieces.

I used the Gel Medium to glue down the acrylic star and hearts onto the letters to add more dimension to the letters. I used the Turquoise, Lime Green and Terre Verte Stencil Butters to color in the letters.

What do you think? Cute, right!? Click here to purchase some of these gorgeous Stencil Butters!! They will certainly brighten your mood any day…

Thank you for visiting today!
