“Magic Christmas” Art Journal

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today, I offer you an Art Journal page for a “Magical Christmas”, a little fairy tale. We all have a child’s soul at this time of the year. For this page, I have chosen these beautiful stencils, TCW880 Merry Tree, TCW717 Ornements, TCW5008 Random Dots and TCW347 Kaleidoscope.

I start by making the background with TCW347 Kaleidoscope and some pink and green spray inks.

Then I add a little more green and pink Distress ink in pad on this background.

I make the Christmas decorations with TCW717 Ornements and some gold glitter paint.

I make the title “Christmas” with TCW880 Merry Tree and some glitter paint.

I continue to do the decor with a few Christmas ball stamps and I put color with watercolor paint.

On a watercolor paper, I stamp the little fairy girl and I make the Christmas trees with TCW880 Merry Tree and TCW9005 White Modeling Paste.

After drying, I color the stamp and the trees with watercolors paint. Then I add small gold dots on the Christmas trees with TCW5008 Random Dots and TCW9026 Champagne Gold Modeling Paste. I cut out the stamp and the trees.

I have a small scissors for the minitieux decoupage and I always put a little ink on the edges of my cutouts so as not to see the white edge of the paper.

I adhere the stamp and the trees on the background, as well as some tiny shiny pink stars.

Some more details!

Here is the result, thanks for stopping by today, I hope my tutorial inspired you! Do not hesitate to leave me a small comment, thank you!
