“It’s full of stars!” Mixed media board

Hello Crafty Friends!

Today, I gave up the Art Journal for the Mixed Media Board, it is very pleasant to work with all kinds of mediums and inks. Here, I chose the large dimension TCW9054 Mixed Media Board 12X12 with the stencils TCW376 Cityscape, TCW5004 Star Shower, TCW743 Crazy Waves, TCW720 Snowflakes.

“It’s full of stars” Mixed Media Board

I start by making the background with blue, yellow, pink and green Distress Oxide.

I spray a little water to give this watercolor effect.

I use TCW376 Cityscape to build the city with some more dark green Distress Oxide.

I cut this pretty strip of printed scrapbooking paper and I adhere it below the buildings.

I make snowflakes at the bottom of the page with TCW720 Snowflakes and TCW9030 White Pearl Modeling Paste.

I make stars in the sky with TCW5004 Star Shower and TCW9030 White Pearl Modeling Paste.

Here is the result, I am now waiting for drying.

I use TCW743 Crazy Waves to make some patterns with green ink between buildings and houses.

I adhere the moon, the big and little birds, which are from the same scrapbooking paper collection as the houses. I add the Christmas Truck that I found on Pinterest.

Here some more details.

I always add a little ink on the edges of the Mixed media board to give a nice finish.

Here is the result, thanks for stopping by today, I hope my tutorial inspired you! Do not hesitate to leave me a small comment, thank you!
