“Hello Winter” Art Journal

Hello crafty friends,

Marie-Christine with you today! Winter is starting to come here, I’ll take you to the skating rink. I will admit that I never go there, after several tries, I gave up, impossible to stand up! For this page I used several stencils, TCW347 Kaleidoscope, TCW720 Snowflakes, TCW5004 Star Shower, TCW518 Evergreens, TCW574 Mountain View.

I start by making the background with TCW347 Kaleidoscope and KN-TCW3571 Color Burst Trio Autumn Leaves.Put Color Burst on the stencil, spray on a little water and apply to the Art Journal pages.

I do the same with TCW720 Snowflakes and KN-TCW3526 Color Burst Trio – Mermaid Tails.

I add Distress ink to the page after drying.

I do my mountain scenery with TCW574 Mountain View and TCW9004 Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste.

When the texture paste is dry, I color with markers. Then, I add some stars with TCW5004 Star Shower and TCW9042 Sterling Silver Modeling Paste. I surround the stars with a white marker.

I make my trees with TCW518 Evergreens and TCW9004 Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste on TCW9051 watercolor paper. I cut out and color them with watercolor paint.

I adhere them on the page and I make a snow effect with a moistened toothbrush and TCW9001 White Gesso.

I found a vintage image to illustrate this winter scene on Pinterest.

Here is the result, thanks for stopping by today, I hope my tutorial inspired you! Do not hesitate to leave me a small comment, thank you!
