Silent Night Canvas

Hello! Nadine here today sharing how I created a silent night canvas with a Northern Lights sky.

The Crafter’s Workshop has provided me with some of the products to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own.

I started with a TCW9053 Mixed Media 6×6 Board and used some of the ColorSparx from the TCW9058 Alpine ColorSparx® Powders and TCW9057 Poolside ColorSparx® Powders. Sprayed it with water using the Ken Oliver Spray Bottle.

Click HERE for the list of supplies I used. The list may contain affiliate links where possible at no cost to you, what so ever.

Once it was dry, I added a layer of TCW9007 Clear Gesso. Since ColorSparx is activated by water I used the Gesso to seal it in so it didn’t interfere with the next step.

Hint: After using any of the mixed media jars, use a piece of Press n Seal over the top of the jar before adding the lid back on. This will help the lid from gluing on so you can’t open it and will also help the product from drying out.

I then used the TCW518 Stencil Evergreens with some Radiant Neon Amplify in White. Amplify is such a fun product, when using a heat tool on it, it puffs up as it heats up.

To create a snow look under the trees, I added some TCW9005 Modeling Paste.

Thank you so much for stopping by and checking out my project!
