A quick and easy greeting card with stencils.

Hi Everyone,

Saadia here with a quick and easy handmade card for you. I hope you like it.

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me the products to work with, but the opinions I share here, are solely my own.

I applied Distress inks on a piece of TCW 9051 Watercolor paper. I applied the inks with a blending brush.

Added background stenciling with Distress inks and TCW876 Screen View stencil. I used a blending brush to apply the inks.

Then applied TCW 9005 Opaque modeling paste through the TCW 914 Plumeria stencil. I used a pallete knife to apply the modeling paste and I let it dry.

Finished the card by adding slightly more distress inks in green and brown colors.

Stamped and glued a birthday greeting and adhered the card onto a black cardstock and a white card base.

That’s all for now.

  1. This is beautiful! There is simplicity, yet plenty of creative marks in the background, all brought together artfully. I see too many stencilled pieces IMHO that are disorganized messes and not executed well. Yours is just the opposite, very lovely.
