“Underwater World”Mixed Media Art Journal

Hello everybody,

Marie-Christine with you on this beautiful day! Put on your diving fins, we will admire the wonders of the underwater world. And surprise !!! Not one, but two Art Journal pages today. We have so beautiful stencils at TCW to make these two creations. Let’s go!

***THE CRAFTER’S WORKSHOP PROVIDED ME SOME PRODUCTS TO CREATE THIS PROJECT.THE OPINIONS I SHARE ARE SOLELY MY OWN.***

“Relax” Mixed Media Art Journal

For this “Relax” mixed media page, I used TCW918 Seahorse, TCW496 Sea creatures , TCW846 Coral Spray, TCW919 Conch Shells, TCW661 Many Textures.

“Coquillages et crustacés” Mixed Media Art Journal

For this “Coquillages et crustacés” Mixed Media page, I used TCW917 Jellyfish, TCW867 Gulf Coast Creatures, TCW868 Gulf Coast Flora, TCW919 Conch Shells , TCW414 Four Ferns.

I start by making the backgrounds with some spray inks.

Then, I start to lay out the stencils to make my underwater backgrounds, I use these with TCW9004 Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste.

I put colors on TCW9004 Light & Fluffy modeling paste with watercolorpaints.

I prepare the other elements with the stencils, that I mentioned above , always with TCW9004 Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste on a TCW watercolor paper. After drying, I put colors with watercolor paints.

I cut out my elements and I paste them on both pages. I also do some additional decorations on the top of the pages with TCW661 Many Textures and TCW414 Four Ferns with Distress Oxide.

To finish, I add the titles with stamps. Here is the result, thanks for stopping by today, I hope my tutorial inspired you! Do not hesitate to leave me a small comment, thank you!
