“Horizon” Mixed Media Board

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today, I present you something new, I’m not used to working on a canvas, so here is a mixed media project with TCW9054 Mixed media board and TCW916 Lighthouse, TCW915 Hibiscus, TCW809 OceanWindow, and some texture. Here, summer begins, so I suggest this summer theme for the next few months!

***THE CRAFTER’S WORKSHOP PROVIDED ME SOME PRODUCTS TO CREATE THIS PROJECT.THE OPINIONS I SHARE ARE SOLELY MY OWN.***

Mixed Media Canvas “Horizon”

I start by making the background with Distress Oxide and TCW809 Ocean Window.

I prepare my maritime landscape with TCW916 Lighthouse and TCW9004 Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste on a watercolor paper.

Then, When the texture is dry, I put some colors with Watercolor paint.

After drying, I draw the contours of the landscape with TCW809 OceanWindow .

Then, I cut it out.

I take again TCW809 OceanWindow, I put it back in its place on the mixed media board and I apply TCW9004 Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste.

Then, I adhere the landscape in the middle and I put color with watercolor paint.

Applying TCW9004 Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste on Distress ink gives a very soft effect.

I make the flower with TCW915 Hibiscus and TCW9004 Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste on watercolor paper, which I then colorize.

Then, I cut it and adhere it on the bottom right of canvas. I add a title “Horizon”, a wooden embellishment colored in red.

Here is the result, thanks for stopping by today, I hope my tutorial inspired you! Do not hesitate to leave me a small comment, thank you!
