Mixed Media Card by Kassy

Hi, it’s Kassy here today to share a vibrant mixed media card with you and a fun technique I haven’t done in a while. I can’t help but use fun, bright colors these days. It really helps to brighten my day and keep me crafty and moving forward.

You can view my full tutorial video here. The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own.

I used TCW White Gesso for the card base so I could spray some pigment on top and keep the colors nice and vibrant.

Then I used TCW Black Modeling paste through the TCW554 stencil to create that lovely black ring in the background.

I used the stain glass technique for the butterfly. This is where you stamp and emboss the image on vellum and then color on the back. The color shows through and it is really stunning.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
