“Le Printemps” TCW Spring Challenge

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today, I present to you my project for the TCW Spring Challenge. first here are the rules to participate:

  • create any project on one 6×6 base (can be a card, canvas, page, off the page project…any substrate)
  • use at least two (2) TCW stencils
  • use at least three (3) colors in your project
  • use at least one embellishment in/on your project
  • share your project on social media using #TCWspringchallenge between April 6 and April 28

I used TCW9053 Mixed Media Board 6×6 for support, TCW911 Sweet Berries and TCW924 Lush Petals for stencils. I chose the colors green, pink and blue. My embellishments are the images of birds and butterflies as well as some pink rhinestones.

***THE CRAFTER’S WORKSHOP PROVIDED ME SOME PRODUCTS TO CREATE THIS PROJECT.THE OPINIONS I SHARE ARE SOLELY MY OWN.***

Mixed Media Board

I start by making my background with blue Distress Oxide on my Mixed Media Board.

I continue my background with Green Distress and TCW924 Lush Petals.

Then, I applied TCW9004 Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste on TCW911 Sweet Berries stencil.

When the Modeling Paste is dry, I color with watercolor paint.

TCW9004 Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste has an ideal texture to be colored with watercolor.

I add my title, here in French, “Le Printemps” with a stamp.

I adhere my images with TCW9011 Matte Gel Medium. And I add some pink rhinestones.

Here is the result, thanks for stopping by today, I hope my tutorial inspired you! Do not hesitate to leave me a small comment, and now it’s your turn!

We would love to see what you create with The Crafters Workshop Stencils and Mediums for our Spring Challenge. You can share it with us on our Facebook Page, Instagram using hashtag #TCWspringchallenge
