How I Finished My Art Journal Cover

I always start to create a beautiful journal cover but I’ve never finished one until now. This is how my art journal cover looked before I started. This is the front and back of the journal.

The Crafters Workshop provided me with stencils and mediums to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own because I do love to use them.

Next I used blue and yellow paint to add TCW826 Garden Frame and TCW909 Quadrangle Fan to the front and back covers.

I decided to create a landscape and I used TCW850 Spring Silhouette and TCW9005 Modeling paste to add trees.

I waited for each one to dry and continued to add more to both sides.

When the modeling paste dried I painted them to look like trees. I believe the shape is actually a carrot but I love to use it for trees. I noticed I had tape all along the sides so I pulled it off to finish off the covers.

The cover may not be finished but I love it so far. This journal is used for all the pages I create with TCW stencils.
