Creating Easy Texture with Bubble-Rebound and Crackle Paste

Hi All! It’s Gabrielle Pollacco here with you today to share a fun and quick video on how to create this colorful textured background using the new stencil I designed for TCW called Bubble-Rebound! All you need is the stencil, some crackle texture paste (I used Prima’s Art Extravagance crackle paste) and some lovely paint colors (I used Lindy’s Squirts – Northern Lights and Great White North collections). So grab a coffee (or your favorite drink) sit back and enjoy!….

I hope you enjoyed my little video and that you feel inspired to play with this stencil and this technique yourself! Remember, the key to larger crackles is laying the paste on thicker over the stencil! Here are a few close-up photos of my project…..

Thanks so much for stopping by the TCW blog today! I look forward to seeing what you all create using this new stencil! xo ~Gabrielle

  1. Really LOVE this stencil and what a great video. I like that she didn’t speed everything up so you had a chance to really explore what she was doing.
