A quick and easy project on Mixed media board.

Hi Everyone,

I want to share a simple art project with you. I hope you like it.

An art project on mixed media board with acrylic paints, stencils, inks and other mediums

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me the products to work with but the opinions I share here, are solely my own.

I made this project on the newly released TCW9053 Mixed media boards. These boards are great for watercolors, inks, acrylic mediums, and mixed media techniques. These are available in two sizes: 12×12 and 6×6 inches. I used a 6×6 inches board for this project.

I applied a layer of TCW9007 Clear Gesso to the board and let it dry completely. Gesso primes the surface for acrylic paints.

Next, I applied acrylic paints with a brush. I used cool colors this time.

The next step was stenciling with acrylic paints and archival inks. I used only two stencils: TCW920 Tropical fronds and TCW922 Ethereal.

I finished the project by adding a butterfly and a quote. I glued them with TCW9011 Matte Gel medium.

That’s all for now.
