Before and After with the Heart Fern Stencil

Do you ever start a painting and your head and hands don’t cooperate? Well this is what happened when I used the TCW872 Heart Fern stencil. Here is the first version.

I wasn’t a fan of the color combo so I painting it over in blues.

I painted over the original painting in shades of blue.

When it dried I added white and pink paint to the heart.

Next I highlighted the heart with pink and added the TCW803 Distressed Lace stencil around the heart.

Still looking plain and boring, I decided to add the TCW791 Micro Hearts with TCW9004 Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste and paint them bright pink.

I added a silver frame and few scribbles in the corner and its finished.

Added a few scribbles of writing at the bottom and then framed it.
Finished and framed.

I do love this version so much better. Have you painted over a painting to start again? We would love to see what you create with The Crafters Workshop Stencils and Mediums. You can share it with us on our Facebook pageInstagram, Twitter, and Pinterest using hashtag #tcwstencillove.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
